User17391607547712365662 (Customer) asked a question.
When creating an Access Request via API, I specified GROUPS in resourceSettings and set approverType in approvalSettings to RESOURCE_OWNER.
I assigned both a user and a group as the owner of the target group, but only the user appears as the Approver in the created request. Why is that?
Additionally, if no owner is assigned to the group, who will be designated as the Approver?

Hello @User17391607547712365662 (Customer) Thank you for posting on our Community page!
This could be because of a miss-configuration, I would recommend reviewing the documentation below:

Thank you for your response.

> If the Okta group owner is another Okta group, that group must be pushed into the access request in order to be used as an approver.
When I took the above action and threw a request with no user specified as the group owner, but only another Okta group, the user in the other okta group appears as an approver.
However, when a user is specified as the group owner and another okta group is specified, only the user is displayed and the user in the okta group is not displayed.
Is this a specification?
Hello @User17391607547712365662 (Customer) I would recommend to open a case with Support to further review the calls you are doing though API and see if there is something that needs to be adjusted.
Thank you for reaching out to our Community and have a great day!
