YassielO.21521 (Customer) asked a question.
We recently upgraded to OKTA OIE and moved most of our authentication flows to OKTA hosted. Overall, things are going well, but we are struggling with some specific cases. For this one, in particular, we are facing issues with adjusting the lifespan of the reset password links. By default, we get just 5 minutes, and we would like to extend the time. Could you help us with this?
I found this entry but seems to be more for the classic engine:
Thanks

Hello @YassielO.21521 (Customer) Thank you for posting on our Community page!
For OIE this can be done only through API, please see doc below on who to achieve this:

Thank you for reaching out to our Community and have a great day!

Thanks @paul.stiniguta1.508386743840768E12 (Okta, Inc.), I will look into this approach.
Hi @paul.stiniguta1.508386743840768E12 (Okta, Inc.), I followed the steps documented in the link you shared to update the policy, but we are getting the same result.
Something is interesting, though. When we fetch the policy via POSTMAN, we can see that the lifespan is not 5 minutes, as in the emails. It's defaulted to 60 minutes:
In the email, the link will expire in 5 minutes:
Any idea of what the problem could be?
