Event Hook is not triggered everytime when an event occurs

Hi @Everyone,

I have configured an event hook for any group membership changes (add/remove) to trigger an OKTA workflow. However, there are few instances even though a user is added/removed from the group. This is causing issues for us. Can anyone please let me know if there are any know issues with event hooks

 

Note: The event hook has "group.user_membership.add" and "group.user_membership.remove" events configured with no additional filters

    @Naga KishoreI.14293 (Customer)​ You can check the Okta system logs to confirm that the events are triggered. It could also be related to the information mentioned in this article.

    I'm not aware of any ongoing issue with the event hooks currently. 

    That being said, there was similar older post with regard to the use case of group membership changes as a result of AD imports. Those type of events are not supported for hook functionality.

    Thanks for the response. We are trying to trigger this event when an OKTA group is assigned manually or group rules. And this is observed when bulk users are assigned to groups.

    Thank you for your response. As mentioned in the article, when multiple events occur within a short period of time, some of these events are bundled into one trigger and sent to the workflow. I sincerely appreciate your help in solving this riddle.
