Hi there!
I'm trying to figure the best way to resolve an error message that we see often. From time to time, an employee will run into an Error 400 when using Okta to login to an app (Excel, SalesForce, Tableau, etc...). Currently, we do find some success in resetting the user's password, but this feels like it's not the most efficient option.
I did some research here and I did find some information on general_nonsuccess error 400's but the solution there wasn't any more efficient then resetting a user's password.
Any insight on a faster solution for this would be greatly appreciated!

Have you checked the Okta logs for more details on the error? For example the following Knowledge Base post talks about a 400 error and how the logs provided more info. Keep in mind this KB post might not be the same issue you are having but it points out where in the logs you might find more error details that might help.
