You'll probably need to look at AD logs to figure out the constraint. You could go to the Profile Editor for the Directory Integration in question and then in the mapping from Okta to AD do a preview on the account in question and make sure you see no errors and that your previewed user has values for all required fields for your AD.

    hi Matthew,

    thank you for reply.

I've checked on Okta to App preview, all attributes show as "green". I think the attributes is no problem.

do you have other idea, we can force push them to create an AD account?

or we can create an AD account and import to okta with his profile?

    please kindly advices, thanks again.

    Jerry

While all attribute mappings might be green that does not mean that the mapping has all the required AD attributes. Double check what are the required attributes in AD do just go by what Okta mapping is showing.

Regarding your question about if you can import an account from AD to Okta the answer is yes. You'll need to make sure the OU where you will create the user in AD is being exposed to Okta via the directory integration. https://help.okta.com/en-us/content/topics/directory/ad-agent-main.htm
