p7585 (p7585) asked a question.

Authentication policy

Define an authentication policy that requires Password and Email if the user is a member of the Contractors Group and is trying to access an application. Unfortunately in the authentication method section, I searched for email in the dropdown and it says no matches what should I do if the email is not in the dropdown to be selected

If you feel you have configured the policy correctly but you are not getting the expected behavior then you should

    1. Make sure the application the user is trying to access has the correct "User authentication" selected on the app's "Sign On" tab.
    2. Review the Okta logs for the user that attempted the authentication to see what policy was being evaluated as sometimes a different policy might be triggered for some reason you did not expect. Sometimes it is hard to tell what policy is being evaluate when default names are used.
