hxdla (hxdla) asked a question.
Hi Okta Community Members,
We are using okta classic engine for our users login and MFA features in Angular C* web application using okta login widget.
Right now we are using okta MFA with multiple factors like Email, Voice call, Text.
We want to extent this feature where users can have feature to remember their device so that they can login to app without MFA once they opt for Remember Device for certain number of configurable days for instance 30, 60 days during their login process.
So, here are steps we are trying to achieve,
1) As part of Login widget functionality, app should provide check box for users to select 'Remember this Device'
2) Once user selects 'Remember this device' during initial login and provides MFA, okta should be able to take device details and save it against that user.
3) For next 30/60 days when user tries to login, app should not prompt for MFA for that same device.
4) If user tries to login from different device , They should get prompt from MFA.
As I mentioned above we want to achieve this using okta classic engine. Can someone provide in detail steps to achieve this both from Okta admin configuration side and also from Angular side implementation angle.
Thank you in advance!

Hello @hxdla (hxdla) Thank you for posting on our Community page!
This question is more appropriate for our dedicated Okta Developer Forum.
My advice would be to reach out via devforum.okta.com to take advantage of their expertise.
While we'll do our best to answer all of your questions here, this medium is more inclined towards Okta core products and features (non-developer work).
Thank you for reaching out to our Community and have a great day!
