NaugleC.14966 (Allentown School District) asked a question.

How do I move my "Okta Digital Experience" auth to a new phone? I can't find where to do it.

Hello, This does seem like a silly question, but on a Support Website all about 2FA; it seems difficult to find where to port my Authentication over from my old phone to my new phone for the Support website. I was able to move my ORG authentication to the new phone, just not the "Support Portal" one called "Okta Digital Experience" . Other websites you can just login and go to your "My Account" or "Security Settings" and perform this simple task.

So where the heck is it for the Okta support site login ??? I need to do this before I can wipe my old phone, so I can keep accessing the Support Portal. Generally, my ORG's login works fine; but how can I be certain of this last remaining 2FA code to migrate ?

Hi @NaugleC.14966 (Allentown School District) , thank you for contacting Okta Community.

If you still have the old device, you can use the “add your Okta account to another device" option—details here: iOS and Android.

You can also review "Can’t add my existing account to a new or existing device" under the following troubleshooting guides: iOS and Android.

If you still have trouble with the MFA transfer, we can help you reset it. If you have a paid account, you can open a support case here. If you have a free account, you can email us at community@okta.com. Ask for your MFA for support.okta.com to be reset, and someone from the team will assist.

    Regards.

Obviously, I am fully aware of the "normal" QR code method, and I've sued it to port my ORG authenticator over; but the 2FA code for the "Okta Digital Experience" does not provide this option.
