ue644 (ue644) asked a question.

OKTA as EAM (External Access Method) to meet the MFA requirement of Microsoft Entra ID.

Good morning,

I want to configure OKTA as an EAM (External Access Method) for Microsoft Entra ID so that administrators (Microsoft Entra ID) can be challenged by OKTA MFA to access the admin interface. I'm not sure if on the OKTA side external MFA service provider functionality for another application (specifically Microsoft Entra ID) was supported without prior federation.

I would like to know if this is feasible today or not. If yes, what is the procedure? If not, could you confirm for me that it is not yet possible to implement this scenario.

Thank you for your understanding.

Looking forward to reading you again.

Something similar was discussed in an older post.

    This is currently not supported.
