Salesforce Upgrade

I'm trying to figure out HOW to upgrade our Salesforce integration.

This article says you can upgrade but isn't clear on how: “You can upgrade to the latest version of our Salesforce integration that uses OAuth authentication for Provisioning and Imports.” (https://help.okta.com/en-us/content/topics/provisioning/salesforce/sfdc-enable-provisioning.htm)

It refers to another article to "Configure OAUTH and REST integration which doesn't mention the word upgrade. Does performing this configuration change documented here result in the "upgrade?" (https://help.okta.com/en-us/content/topics/provisioning/salesforce/sfdc-configure-provisioning-rest.htm)

  • Hi @00ugrrie9fFPNGCOFFIN1.418356822487514E12 (Customer) , Thank you for reaching out to the Okta Community!

If the Provisioning tab under your Okta Admin Dashboard → Applications → Salesforce shows the "OAuth Consumer Key" and "OAuth Consumer Secret" options, it means that you already have the updated version.

PastedIf you do not see these options and instead have username/password options, it means that your tenant does not have the required feature enabled. The tenants created after the update have it by default, older tenant need to have it enabled.

Please open a case and my colleagues from the Support Team should be able to assist you with this.

If my answer helped, remember to mark it as best to increase its visibility for other members of the Okta Community who might have the same questions as you.

    Hope my answer helps!
