Inquiry About Customizable Authentication Security for Office 365 Applications
We are currently evaluating our security measures for accessing various applications and are particularly interested in how Okta might support customized authentication security levels depending on the specific application accessed within the Office 365 suite.
For example, we are looking for enhanced security measures for accessing sensitive platforms like the Entra ID console compared to less critical applications such as Microsoft Word.
Is it possible ?

Currently Okta offers control over user lifecycle, license and roles depending on the configuration, but when it comes to authentication, it is done at domain level. Once the user logs in, it's up to O365 to provide/limit access to particular parts of the environment.
You can suggest this as a feature enhancement on the Okta Community page by going to the Community→ Ideas tab. Features suggested in our community are reviewed and can be voted and commented on by other members. High popularity will increase the likelihood of it being picked up by the Product Team and it being implemented.
