Okta verify - "Something went wrong, Please try again" error

Hello

We have a problem with some users - When we try to enroll the okta verify app in the user's PC we're getting the error message "Somethign went wrong, Please try again":

/help/servlet/rtaImage?refid=0EM4z000008eOC7

I tried this solution that Okta suggest:

/help/servlet/rtaImage?refid=0EM4z000008eOCC

but it doesnt help

Im using the latest version of Google chrome

Ty!

Hi @BarM.78448 (Customer) , thank you for contacting Okta Community.

Try uninstalling Okta Verify from the user's PC, then re-installing it. This would be followed, of course, by resetting this factor on the user's profile in the Okta Admin console.

If you are using any software to encrypt the PC, try to also re-enroll the PC and check any certificates or keys that the program may have added to the user's PC.

If you have a VPN or a network zone set up, it's worth looking into it to ensure the user is permitted to access the org.

If those tips do not resolve the issue, more in-depth troubleshooting may be required. If you have a paid account, you can open a Support ticket here. If you take this route, please consider returning to this post and posting the resolution once the ticket is resolved. It may help others who find themselves facing the same problem.

    Regards.
