SWA Application with single field does not login

Hey,

i am trying to setup a SWA integration for a login page with a single field, following this guide https://support.okta.com/help/s/article/How-to-configure-single-field-SWA-app?language=en_US

The form has only one field, email, identified by "id=email"

I am using the "Template Plugin App" template, and using the CSS selector *email for both the username and the password.

The login fails, and what I see in the console is the following:

Script::testPasswordElementTypeSafety: Found a non-password field when a password field was expected

<SITE NAME HERE>: Refusing site flow!

Any pointers on how I could proceed with this?

Thanks

Hi @StergiouD.39167 (Customer) , Thank you for reaching out to the Okta Community!

Unfortunately, without all the details it would not be possible to offer a solution for this.

In addition to that, while the Template App is offered as a possible solution, it is not guaranteed to be supported for all sites/apps.

That being said, the Okta Community Questions forum isn't really meant for in-depth troubleshooting. If you have an account with us, please open a case to work with one of my colleagues from the Support team to clarify the matter via a non-public thread, to share sensitive information and maybe set up a meeting to go over the implementation.

If my answer helped, remember to mark it as best to increase its visibility for other members of the Okta Community who might have the same questions as you.

    Hope my answer helps!
