KTHO.73100 (Customer) asked a question.

Cisco Anyconnect SAML - Renewing certificate on the Cisco ASA for SAML

I have a certificate on my Cisco ASA that is used for the SAML configuration with Okta, that is about to expire. What steps do I need to take to renew this certificate? Thanks in advance.

Hi @KTHO.73100 (Customer) , thank you for contacting Okta Community.

To minimize disruptions, Okta recommends renewing certificates before they expire. You can refer to this article on how to renew a certificate for ASA.

No......you misunderstood my request. When I mentioned ASA in my question, I was not referring to the Okta Advanced Server Access (ASA) component. I was referring to the Cisco ASA Firewall appliance which Okta MFA application is working with for VPN auth.

@KTHO.73100 (Customer) , apologies for the misunderstanding. This article covers how to Manage signing certificates. You need to generate a new certificate and upload it to the downstream application.

        Regards.
