VikramS.13447 (Customer) asked a question.

Hot to use Custom Brand logo under Workflow > Automation in the Email.

In my Okta instance, I have a Custom Brand and the logo is different for Subdomain and Custom Domain.

I have to use the Custom Brand Logo on Workflow > Automation > User Inactivity Email template.

When I copied the content of the Custom Brand Email in the Automation Action, it showed me the Subdomain Logo but wanted to use the Custom Domain Logo.

Please help.

Hi @VikramS.13447 (Customer) , Thank you for reaching out to the Okta Community!

Just tested this in my environment using the Preview feature for the template and confirmed that it has nothing to do with the Brands configuration. It will always shows the default logo.

The only way I got it to show the image I wanted is by modifying the value in the template with the URL of the image I want.

In the Email Template, look up the img src="${brand.theme.logo}" entry and modify the value to the desired URL. For example:

    img src="https://imagehostingURL.domain.abc/imageNameXYZ.png"

If my answer helped, remember to mark it as best to increase its visibility for other members of the Okta Community who might have the same questions as you.

    Hope my answer helps!
