989ag (989ag) asked a question.

Okta Privileged Access with MFA

When I tried to access using SecureCRT and enable the MFA policy on OPA I can't Access to SSH. It is possible to access the SSH if I disable the MFA policy on Privileged Access.

But we need to use the MFA Policy. So is there any feature or options in SecureCRT to establish server connections using Okta MFA authentication?

  • Hi @989ag (989ag) , Thank you for reaching out to the Okta Community!

I was unable to locate any explicit documentation for the SecureCRT implementation with OPA but the following discusses the MFA considerations that need to be taken:

We also have an upcoming event (Feb 28th) where you can post questions directly for the Okta Privileged Access Product Team. Please check the link on the bottom of this response.

If my answer helped, remember to mark it as best to increase its visibility for other members of the Okta Community who might have the same questions as you.

    Hope my answer helps!
