JoeJ.55836 (Customer) asked a question.

One or more required attributes are not mapped. Not sure if these attributes are neccesary.

Getting this warning then trying to synchronize AD to OKTA:

One or more required attributes are not mapped. To prevent provisioning failures, scroll down to kay.kayapartments.com Attribute Mappings and set mappings for the attributes that are marked with a warning icon.

Any idea's of what these values should be set to?

    Hi Joe Judy ,

Okta requires certain base attributes in an Okta user profile.

For more details on the required attributes refer,

    https://help.okta.com/en-us/content/topics/directory/directory_ad_field_mappings.htm

To do the mappings you can follow the below steps,

Navigate to Directory -> Profile Editor -> here search for the Active Directory profile, Navigate to "Mappings" option where the attributes can be mapped. Additionally, after you are on the mappings view, you will have to make sure that you are on the AD to Okta tab as you want to bring data from Active Directory into Okta.

    Hi Jijo,

I was looking into profile editor per your advise but I am not finding any attributes that are matching the one that are reported as not mapped. For exampled dn on AD has no counter value on okta menu for the distinguish name. Is there a way to create them and then map?

    See attached screenshots.

    Thanks
