Okta Cloud Connect for Palo Alto rename subdomain

Hello, I'm trying out the free perpetual Palo Alto Networks | Okta integration from https://www.okta.com/free/palo-alto-networks/.

I was informed that the 3 support tickets/year are no longer available and that I should reach out to a community engineer instead.

Can a community engineer please help me rename the account's subdomain from [REDACTED by moderator] to [REDACTED by moderator]? The client is not OK with having "trial" in the subdomain as that suggests it is not perpetual and was so worried that they called Okta to see if it was actually a trial.

I am OK with the interruption caused by an unscheduled renaming.

Conclusions after discussing with Okta via e-mail:

Now that the 3 support tickets/year are not available, actions that need to be performed by Okta Support, such as subdomain changes, are no longer within the scope of support for Okta Cloud Connect accounts. Okta Community will assist with answering questions but not with performing any actions.

The trial naming will remain. Use the branding feature with a custom domain to rename the domain for users. Admins will always see the trial naming when accessing the admin portal.

Wait okta support in the community whether they can do it.

Hi @qq0am (qq0am) , Thank you for reaching out to the Okta Community!

Please review the following article that discusses the implications of the subdomain change:

    https://support.okta.com/help/s/article/Renaming-Your-Okta-Subdomain?language=en_US

Once you’ve reviewed it and decided that you still want to go through with the sub-domain change, please email us with your details (name, email, Okta org URL, desired change) at community@okta.com and we’ll look into opening a request for you.

If my answer helped, remember to mark it as best to increase its visibility for other members of the Okta Community who might have the same questions as you.

    Hope my answer helps!
