JacobH.16488 (Customer) asked a question.

Okta Browser Plugin

For tools we store the password and login process in the Okta browser plugin, how do mobile users log in? We cannot share a password for a shared login and we cannot figure out how users can access from a shared device.

we find the password can view by end user when he change the type from password to text. So the password can be leak for input by okta browse plugin .

Hi @JacobH.16488 (Customer) , Thank you for reaching out to the Okta Community!

SWA authentication is not currently supported for mobile as it is dependent on the Okta Browser plugin and it works only on Windows 10/11 and macOS.

Typically, I would have recommended submitting a Feature Enhancement request via the Community > Ideas page, but in this case I’ve located a pre-existing request, so I recommend upvoting to increase visibility and popularity.

Features suggested in our community are reviewed and can be voted and commented on by other members. High popularity will increase the likelihood of it being picked up by the Product Team and it being implemented.

    More details here.

If my answer helped, remember to mark it as best to increase its visibility for other members of the Okta Community who might have the same questions as you.

    Hope my answer helps!
