Force log out user of external applications
I think the answer is no, but is it possible to force logout of a user within Okta and it will also force logout of any external applications configured through Okta? This is useful for immediate user separations or compromised accounts. My assumption is we need to log out within each app itself since Okta only communicates when there is not an active session, but wanted to ensure there isn't a setting or feature I'm missing for this.

At this time Okta does not have access to user's external application sessions to be able to perform a force log out.
However you can add a Feature Request on our Idea section, for a chance that this functionality to be added in the future.
