Raising this post as it seems like to me the Google Workspace application in Okta is missing a additional schema attribute for users; locations API field https://developers.google.com/admin-sdk/directory/reference/rest/v1/users
We have organisations, phones, addresses, externalIds and relations but no locations.
locations[].buildingId can be used for the Building ID field seen below on a GWS User.
Am I missing the correct attribute in the okta schema attributes list that is perhaps named incorrectly? I've scoured through it a few times and it seems that the locations API field is just not included.
Found a older community post here; https://support.okta.com/help/s/question/0D54z00008U5rpcCAB/gsuite-to-okta-attribute-mapping?language=en_US which mentions BuildingID, but the advice was to follow the "Enhanced schema discovery" steps on https://help.okta.com/en-us/content/topics/provisioning/google/google-provisioning.htm*Configur, which in this case does not help

Hi @RobB.93881 (Customer) , Thank you for reaching out to the Okta Community!
I’ve done some digging into this specific attribute and it seems it’s not supported by the schema discovery. I found a pre-existing Feature Enhancement request for this as well:
https://ideas.okta.com/app/#/case/164552
I recommend upvoting it as well to increase visibility. High popularity will increase the likelihood of it being picked up by the Product Team and it being implemented.
Typically, if the attribute exists in the schema of the app, Okta should be able to pull it via the API credentials configured under your Google app Provisioning setting.
As mentioned in the article by going to the Okta Admin Dashboard → Directory → Profile Editor → <Google app name> → Add Attribute.
If the attribute is not listed, you might have to click on the “Refresh Attribute List” option and check again.
I’ll edit the older post as well to make sure the information is up to date.
If my answer helped, remember to mark it as best to increase its visibility for other members of the Okta Community who might have the same questions as you.
Hope my answer helps!
