I'm very interested in hearing about new features and enhancements and want to also find out about best practices around things like group ownership and Workflow integration.

What are some of the new major features and enhancements we should keep an eye out for?
Are there any group management strategies that work well with OIG?
Any improvements coming regarding OIG leveraging Workflows or are there any plans to take actions (send emails, modify access, make API calls) inside OIG rather than having to call Workflows. If not, are there any plans to allow us to identify in OIG what Workflows are tied to a given campaign or access request?

Entitlement Management I'd say is the latest one I'd get myself familiar with. All OIG customers will have in enabled in mid January (Targeted date) when it goes GA. Some OOTB connectors to start but also ready to use for customer applications if you want to build it yourself.
Also targeted for early next year (targeted for Q1) is the new SCIM connector for Entitlements Management. This SCIM 2.0 connector will be entitlements aware. Lastly, currently in the works is support for Access Certification campaigns on AD groups. Initially this will allow you to revoke membership to AD groups. This is targeted for H1 of next year. Safe Harbor applies to all of these statements as dates are subject to change.
Group management strategies? That would depend on how you are currently using groups. My recommendation would be to Join OIG Office Hours to let us dig in a bit more. I will say that with the new entitlement Management less groups are required as entitlements are assigned to the user. Yes, the OIG team is looking to bring more OOTB features to Workflows...stay tuned on that one.

What are key features that make OIG stand out from other Identity Access Management and governance tools?
@User15978650896699184073 (Developer Support) I think some of the main features and feedback we get from our customers is just how easy the product is to use overall. They like ability to customize Access Requests. Also our rich catalog is a huge differentiator when it comes to Application provisioning. As we build a stronger and stronger Unified Platform you sell Okta start to take advantage of the Zero Trust side of the house in Governance. Another area that I like to talk about is expanding beyond the traditional IGA UAR's and adding in more dynamic in nature certifications. Leveraging Events in Okta as well as Workflows you can build User campaigns using the API's fairly easy. Multiple examples out of the support site. If you think of any others let us know.
