Outlook for Mac never remembers my settings (remember me and send push automatically)
I'm trying to log in to Outlook using Okta on MacOS. My account has MFA turned on. So I want to use Push Notification automatically.
- The first login page never remembers me so the username is always empty. Even if I turn "Remember Me" on.
- The second page never sends the push notification automatically. Even if I turn "Send push automatically" on.
I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.
- Macbook Pro running Ventura 13.4.1 (c)
- Outlook for Mac 16.70

These settings are based on cookies, and if the device you are you are using does not retain them these settings will not be remembered next time you login.
Also if you are using the Outlook client, this does not retain cookies and every time you login you will need to imput your credentials and send the push manually.
If you are using a browser, make sure that the browser cookies are not deleted once you close it or shut down your Mac.

OK so the problem is with Outlook. I suppose it's opening some browser for MFA and upon closing that browser session is not saved. I also suppose that this issue would be the same for any SSO solution out there. So this is probably a widespread issue. Surely I can't be the only person who is having this issue. What are other people doing in such a case?
I'm asking because googling doesn't seem to produce much results.
