Currently, we use an Okta push group within the Google app on Okta, which propels users into the Google group where the Okta SSO profile is activated. Once users join the Google group, they lose the ability to use native login for their Gmail accounts.
Our goal is to enroll users who are already in poses of company work email and send Okta invitations to their Gmail work addresses. As a result, from the moment an invite is dispatched, they will be automatically integrated into the Google group where the Okta SSO profile is enabled. This poses a risk of locking them out of their work email, as they would need access to it to accept the Okta invitation.
Is it possible for Okta to delay pushing users - only initiating this action once they've activated their Okta account?

Unfortunately this is an option that Okta does not have. However you can add a Feature Request on our Idea section, for a chance that this functionality to be added in the future.
