Is it possible to add SCIM provisioning via the Core Rest API?

Hi all,

I'm trying to automate the creation and configuration of an Okta integration via the Core Rest API. I have managed to create an initial SAML application via the API that I can use for authorisation, so far so good.

I also want to be able to provision downstream users and keep them in sync with Okta, so I'm trying to add a SCIM connection. Unfortunately I can't find any way to configure a SCIM connection for an app from the Rest API - all of the app provisioning end points are specifically limited to the Org2Org connector.

Does anyone know if the automated creation & configuration of a SCIM provisioning connector is currently possible via the Core API? (Or indeed any other API? I'm not picky...)

While I know this does not answer your SCIM question, have you looked at leveraging Okta Workflows for your provisioning?

There are some API calls to manage app provisioning features, but not to enable SCIM specifically.

Following on from @Matthew Harshbarger's suggestion, it looks like event hooks will give me the notifications that I want and are installable via the API.

Workflow can be configured with complex logic, but it can be time-consuming to configure. SCIM is convenient for user synchronization.
