OktaSignIn Error Code Override not working
Hello,
My company uses Okta embeded sign in widget. The product thinks the default message that is displayed for the error E0000004 should be customized to help our users a bit more. I've followed the documentation and tried to customize this but to no avail. The attached screen shots show the code, the login page and the response sent by Okta servers.
Note: It is worth noting that I am able to customize some properties, for e.g. I can successfully override the 'needhelp' text and 'primaryauth.submit' text as shown in the screen shots.

Unfortunately at this time that message is Hard-Coded and can not be customised. We would recommend to review the system log for additional understanding of the authentication error and what could have caused that.
However you can add a Feature Request on our Idea section, for a chance that this functionality to be added in the future.
