Error pushing a profile update to this app - Active Directory

I have been receiving the below error for ONE user in our org and unsure of how to proceed.

 

"Automatic profile push of user to app Active Directory failed: Error updating active_directory user: The requested oepration did not satisfy one or more constraints associated with the class of the object."

 

A bit of context: Last month we switched to Workday as a Master and configured Real Time Sync with our Okta tenant. New hire accounts get provisioned/created downstream into AD. This specific user account already existed within our org (not a new hire) and is generating errors under Dashboard - Tasks - Profile push updates encountered errors. No other accounts that pre-existed in our org are producing the error.

 

Any insight is appreciated. Thanks!

    There are various reasons why this could happen but it mostly boils down to an unsupported value for one or more attributes.  

     

    Examples seen: 

    > employeeNumber was more than 16 characters

    > incorrect value being sent for manager down from HR solution.  

    > job title was too long. 

    > in one instance simply unassigning/reassigning the affected user resolved the issue without us finding out what actually cause the issue

     

    My advice is to start comparing the working user profiles against the one that failed.
