gyp8v (gyp8v) asked a question.

FIDO2/WebAuthn for VMWare Horizon (biometric authentication)

I've checked the documentation for integration with VMWre Horizon and it works successfully with Okta Verify and Yubikey integration in Okta. Biometric keys (FIDO2/Webauthn) are not listed as methods, I wonder if there's a way to use a biometric Yubikey with this application? I believe not since it's not listed but I wonder if there are other methods.

Hi @gyp8v (gyp8v) , Thank you for reaching out to the Okta Community!

Indeed, I have not been able to locate any resource that would mention biometric support for the Okta/VMWare Horizon implementation.

That being said, we'll leave this Question open for the Community in case someone here had a similar implementation and can provide additional insight.

You can also suggest this as a Feature Enhancement on the Okta Community page by going to the Community Ideas tab. Features suggested in our community are reviewed and can be voted and commented on by other members. High popularity will increase the likelihood of it being picked up by the Product Team and it being implemented.

If my answers helped, remember to mark it as best to increase its visibility for other members of the Okta Community who might have the same questions as you.

    Hope my answer helps!
