User Locked Out Due to Maximum Number Of Login Attempts Reached

I received an email saying that a user has been locked out due to the max number of login attempts reached. However, I still see this user listed as "Active". The user gets the error message: "You exceeded the maximum number of requests. Try again in a while."- when trying to login to their account. If the account does not show as "Locked Out", I cannot unlock it. Should I reset his password instead to resolve the issue?

    Hi Richard K.,

Is this user AD sourced ?Then have a look on the AD profile ,maybe the user is locked in AD. You can also setup the Okta AD policy for users to self-service unlock their accounts
