qnkhl (qnkhl) asked a question.
I have two WebAuthn security keys configured. One is my phone, which is what I primarily use, and I also have a Feitian USB security key, which is my backup in case I can't use my phone for whatever reason (eg, batteries flat, no internet connection, etc). When I configured them, I didn't see any place where I could enter a name for them. Now, when I look in my list of security methods, they are both just called "Authenticator". There's no way to edit them, and I can't see any way to find out more details about them. If I need to delete one (eg, because I lost my phone or USB key), how do I know which is which to know which to delete? In other websites, I'm given the opportunity to specify a name for them when I configure them so I can tell them apart.

Hello @qnkhl (qnkhl) Thank you for reacting out to our Community!
I have checked on my end and the name of authenticators does show. It might seem that you are missing a feature that does this, as per our doc below please see "View the list of Okta-recognized WebAuthn authenticators"
https://help.okta.com/oie/en-us/Content/Topics/identity-engine/authenticators/configure-webauthn.htm
For this you can reach out to your account executive and request this feature enabled.

WebAuthn is enabled. I've added two keys to it already, you can see that in the screenshot, if it wasn't enabled, how could I have done that?
I'm an end-user of Okta, I'm not an admin. The docs you have linked to are for admins enabling WebAuthn and adding WebAuthn authenticators to users. Maybe when an admin adds one, they can name it, but as an end user that doesn't have access to the admin console, and only has access to my own apps dashboard, there's no way for me to name them.
Hello, in this case we recommend to reach out to your Okta administrator for additional assistance on this matter, this is more of an Organisation setting rather then an individual issue.
