lhtb0 (lhtb0) asked a question.
After following the article on removing AD groups from OKTA
- remove the group from the source and run an import from the provisioned AD
The groups have not been removed from OKTA. I have searched the AD environment and confirmed the groups are deleted.
Are there any other options for me to get these groups removed from Okta?

Can you confirm that the groups in Okta are displaying the Windows/AD icon and not the Okta "O" Icon? and if so, does it provide a location of the group in AD?
If confirmed the above and group is removed, I would recommend looking at AD Directory > Provisioning > Integration and ensuring that the OU is selected as well so that Okta can update as needed. Its always possible that at some point this was de-selected and it may be causing issues.
Please let me know how this ends up and if you have any further questions or concerns. Thanks!
I confirmed that its displaying a Windows/AD icon. Yes, it provides the location of the group in AD.
I also checked the integration as you suggested and everything is correct on that end as well. I ran an import to force the changes for the groups, but this did not recognize the removal of the groups.
Hi @lhtb0 (lhtb0) ,, Thank you for reaching out to the Okta Community!
I concur with @DonF.81354 (Customer) , you need to make sure that the groups were in the OUs synced with Okta and the one thing I wanted to add, is that the import has to be "full", not "incremental".
Incremental imports do not remove groups.
