Hi! What application is this for? Does it occur when attempting to provision users to the target application?

    Thanks!

    • Hi Don,

It's for the "Okta Help Center" according to the Dashboard - Tasks console.

The system logs show "Push new user to external application success".

Also, when retrying the task, is there anything in the system logs that can assist? Thanks again

Hi @LaurentT.37025 (NA) , Thank you for reaching out to the Okta Community!

I might be able to provide some insight into what is happening here.

Whenever you promote a user to admin they get provisioned to this site (support.okta.com), the Okta Help Center - to be able to submit support requests and so on.

They main cause for such errors if a username conflict. If you have multiple admins with the same email address, they can't be provisioned.

You can try removing the admin role, changing the email address for the affected account, then re-adding the admin role.

If you continue experiencing problems with it, back-end actions might need to be taken, so please reach out to the Support team should that be the case.

If my answer helped, remember to mark it as best to increase its visibility for other members of the Okta Community who might have the same questions as you.

    Hope my answer helps!

  • Hi Mihai,

Thanks for your answer, however, it's the same error for non-admin users as well:

insufficient access rights on cross-reference id: 001F000000rXijg

I'll open a ticket with Support but thought I'd ask here in case others have seen this and getting a solution could help everyone. Also, I'm not sure why my name shows up as the oktaldap svc instead of my name but that's for another post 🙂

      Understood.

And with regards to the name listed here, check on the support.okta.com site - (top right) click on your listed username, select "My profile" from the dropdown and you should be able to edit the info there.
