    The SSO metadata endpoint will not change and this is a stable endpoint. If there will be any alterations to this, it would be pre-announced in out release notes.

    We use SAML metadata endpoints all the time for over a year with the expectation that they will not change and they have not as of yet. I do not expect they will unless we created a new Okta tenant or app for some reason.

     

    Like you, I don't find any documentation with a guarantee but I think it is just an expected behavior thing. Sorry I'm not able to provide you anything more definitive. Hopefully someone from Okta will chime in on this ticket and give you that assurance.
