Salesforce configuration for validating OKTA's security token

Hello All,

I'm writing to validate with you, if it is possible to do an integration as the below image shows. In brief, the user is login using the Okta's credentials, the JWT token is stored into the web's cookie. The user interact with the Salesforce's API rest using the current JWT token.

I've already configured the single sign-on into Salesforce, and I've been able to connect an Angular Application with a Salesforce community app. However, I need to call the SF's APIs using the JWT token to validate the connection.

Is that possible? Do I have to change my approach?

Thank you very much for your time.

Gustavo
