AfroN.02177 (Customer) asked a question.

Org2Org - JIT Settings -> 'Group Assignments' not working

Hi

We have a Org2Org integration working 99%. For some reason, the assigned users aren't being added to the destiny group configured on Security Identity Provider > JIT Settings -> 'Group Assignments'.

Can you folks think in a reason ?

Thank you

  • Hi @AfroN.02177 (Customer) , Thank you for reaching out to the Okta Community!

If the system logs don't provide any explicit error, my first guess would be to look at the Push Groups configuration and confirming all that is properly set up before attempting new user JIT. Please check under the Provisioning docs for Org2Org.

If my answer helped, remember to mark it as best to increase its visibility for other members of the Okta Community who might have the same questions as you.

    Hope my answer helps!

@Mihai Negoita (Employee) thank your answer.

As far I understand, the functionality that I mentioned does not have the goal to push groups from spoke to hub.

It supposes to include the assigned users from spoke to an already existing group on hub as soon they are created on hub.

      Thank you 🙂

      • Ah, I see.... you want to manage everything only via SAML.

Ran a test myself right now with a brand new user and it works:

imageimageIt does not seems to be a system issue and this is not the proper medium for in depth troubleshooting so I recommend opening a case to work with one of our Support Engineers and get to the bottom of it.
