Okta Regional URLs Question
I was reading the okta developer documentation and found an example where okta provides a US and EMEA domain.
<my domain>.okta.com
<my domain>.okta-emea.com
Is there any other information on this? My questions:
- Are there other domains like <my domain>.okta-apac.com (asia pacific) too. If so is there a list of what is available?
- Is it recommended to use these regional domains if using okta from other regions? For example, someone located in Europe would get better performance using the URL located closest to them regionally.
I did some testing with the domain <my domain>.okta.com and found that no matter what world region I use it from, it is probably pointing to an instance located in the US.

I have done some research and the available domains that Okta has are the ones listed below:
Also, I wasn’t able to find a specific recommendation but the servers for the EMEA organisations are located closer to the EMEA region, in which I assume that this provides a faster response time from the server if you are located in that region.
