GavinR.83273 (Customer) asked a question.

Dev account multi-tenant support, SAML authentication

I have an application that I want to split in 2, one for administrators and the other for general users. I use the okta dev account for development as our application is deployed to a customer that has a full okta account but we don't use it internally. I have seen in the documentation that I should be able to enable this app to request other SSO URLs but this option is not available to me. Am I missing something or is this feature not available in a dev account?

Hello @GavinR.83273 (Customer) Thank you for reacting out to our Community!

I would assume this for a Custom SAML application, this setting is located under SAML Settings-> Advance Settings -> Other Requestable SSO URLs.

    Hope this helps.

Thank you @Paul S. (Okta, Inc.) I have set up my urls here but once authenticated I am always returned to the primary single sso url (the first input box when setting up the screen.) When I look at this documentation https://support.okta.com/help/s/article/How-to-add-additional-Requestable-SSO-URLs?language=en_US I can see a check box "Allow this app to request other SSO URLs" but this is not available to me, I only have the one check box labelled "Use this for Recipient URL and Destination URL" which made me wonder if this feature was not available in a dev account.

This should be a feature available for everyone, please see screenshot below for the settings:

Screenshot 2022-12-12 at 10.02.05The original place has changes in the last few weeks, this might be the reason why you do not see it initially.

        Hope this helps!

I must be missing something - see my answer, I cannot get it to work.

I am at a loss as to why it is not working for me then.

If I login from the app on port 44386 then all is well but if I attempt to log in on the apps on port 5051 I can authenticate with Okta but get returned to the application on port 44386. What am I missing?

    I have these set up:
