Hello everyone,
I currently got Paylocity set up in Okta as the profile source and this has been really helpful. In that configuration, I was able to map out Paylocity and Okta attributes like the employee's Title, Employee number, Phone Number, Manager's Display Name, etc... I also mapped out the Manager's ID attribute but this injects a long string number from Paylocity into Okta instead of the actual Manager's email address that I need.
I tried using Okta expression language but unfortunately no success. The Okta support team suggested the use of an expression language code that generates the Manager ID which is the Manager's e-mail address based on the Manager's display name. Unfortunately, some employees' email address does not follow the firstname.lastname at company.com rule.
Any suggestions? Has anyone configured this?
