Hi there,
Recently we noticed some users missing in the lookup somehow. I noticed on Core Okta API webpage it mentioned "Okta no longer includes deactivated users in the lookup." But we didn't deactivate this user. So question is, is there a behavior from the user himself can triggered him to be deactivated? Also, besides being deactivated, is there other status could also exclude a user in the lookup?
Best,
Yuan

Hi Laura,
Thanks for your reply! I read your articles however seems they don't fully answer my question.
I am interested to understand how Okta change a user's status. In detail, how would a user be removed from user lookup.
For example, I know if a user has several failed attempt to login to okta, then he/she is moved to 'Locked_up' status. So similarly, is there a pattern to trigger a user to be removed from user lookup?
Best,
Yuan
Any update would be appreciated!
