We have a Jira instance configured via SAML with Okta. We would like to manage groups within Okta and have those groups synchronized and leveraged with in Jira for authorization. What is the best way to accomplish that? Configure a Jira User Sync with Okta?

Configure user provisioning with Okta
This article talks about both provisioning users to Jira, but also about the Push Group functionality. This will be most effective at pushing groups and their memberships into Jira. Note that this does not provision users to Jira (that is what provisioning is for) but rather pushes groups and their memberships only.
