Failed Login Report - how to see targeted application

Is there a way to get the targeted application in the Failed login report? We have several applications in our Okta organization and we need the Failed login report to be segregated by the application so we know to which site the user was attempting to authenticate.

Hello @StephanieR.12727 (Customer) Thank you for reacting out to our Community!

Our System log does not track failed login. When a user is accessing an application but the login failed, in the System log you will see a Successful authentication. The logic behind this is that the users is being sent to the SSO link with Success and the response from the app is not being tracked.

You can add a new Idea on our Idea section for a chance to add failed authentication within the System log.
