krac6 (krac6) asked a question.
The website I’m using Okta Verify to sign in with sends a push notification to the Okta app. This has worked for me in the past. Now I’m trying to login again, and the website says it is sending a push notification.
However, on the “ways to sign in”section for this website on the Okta App, receiving a push notification is not an option. My only option for this website on the Okta app is “authentication code” - it will generate a code for me to enter.
I absolutely need a push notification to sign in. How did this option disappear?

Hi @krac6 (krac6),
Thank you for posting on the Okta community page!
I am not sure I have understood your inquiry but I have done some research and in order to have Push Notifications for Okta Verify, the "Enable Push Notification" option needs to be turned on. The option can be found on your Okta Admin Console >> Security >> Multifactor >> Factor Types >> Okta Verify.
I hope the above information is helpful!
