rq8tm (rq8tm) asked a question.

Reset Password -> Wrong Password after signing in Google

Hi,

I signed in okta with Google for my Spring Boot Cloud Project.

I wanted to change the password. I wrote my google password in current password field.

After clicking reset button, it said that current password is wrong.

How can I fix it?

Hello @rq8tm (rq8tm)  Thank you for reacting out to our Community!

If you are signing in with Google IDP in Okta, in Okta you do not have a password as the authentication is done through Google. As a resolution you can perform a password reset at the Sign in page of Okta or you can ask your Okta administrator for a password reset or temporary password.
