I'm troubleshooting the "Expire session after user has been idle on Okta for X minutes" setting on a Global Session Policy. Intention is to apply an inactivity timeout on a single page App, not on Okta dashboard (user is actually denied from accessing dashboard). I'm finding that if I set the idle timeout from 1 to 4 minutes, this seems to work as I'd expect. If I don't interact with the App there is no network traffic, and I'm logged out after a few minutes. However, if I set the idle timeout to 5 or more minutes, the idle timeout never seems to apply. How can I troubleshoot why the session is not being closed? I've experimented with setting access + refresh token lifetimes to be greater than session idle timeout, it doesn't seem to matter.

Hi, @oyefh (oyefh)
Thank you for posting on our Community page!
Okta does not set session timeout for Apps, only for Okta dashboard. The setting for session timeout of Apps is handled by the Service Provider itself.
Hope this helps!
