Okta Classic Engine + Windows Autopilot? Yay or Nay

I've got a pending Intune Deployment project for a client who is still on the Classic Engine, all the docs I've read and testing performed so far are to no avail (user account is not created in the device until they sign in the second time, resulting in the device provisioning process running twice) and the project is on pretty much on hold until they can be upgraded to OIE.

At first I thought this was just a Win11 thing but I have also tested in several version of Win10 with the same results..

Am I wasting my time trying to find a solution to this whilst they're still in the Classic Engine?

Does it just straight up not work?

I've was checking internal resources and noticed that you already had a ticket open with Support on this matter, so I'm posting this here for the rest of the Community as well.

It's unsupported on the Classic engine and will most likely never be as we're slowly migrating every Okta org to OIE.

That being said, I would recommend checking in with your Okta Account Executive or Customer Success Manager to see if the migration could be expedited.

If my answer helped, remember to mark it as best to increase its visibility for other members of the Okta Community who might have the same questions as you.

    Hope my answer helps!
