Okta -> Office 365 ExtensionAttribute1 mapping doesn't work
Hi,
During creation of new Person, I want to add a new field that would later write it's value to ExtensionAttribute1.
I've set up the attribute mappings, however, the field won't update. It is available through Get-Mailbox in PowerShell, and it works when I set it manually from O365 admin, however, Okta won't write to it.
Mappings only allow the mapping on User Create only, for some reason.
Also, I'd like to be able to set the value during user creation, not after they're created - is that possible to add it to the form?

I researched your inquiry and found these articles which better explain this issue:
The culprit at hand might be the type of provisioning you are using. Keep in mind that certain types of provisioning only push basic profile.
Using universal sync should solve the issue and properly map that attribute with the desired value.
