How can you set an Authentication Policy for a new app created via API?
I'm not seeing anything in Apps API documentation on how to do this but I'm able to change the policy after I create the app using "Update application policy". https://developer.okta.com/docs/reference/api/apps/*update-application-policy

It's currently a two-step process. You'll need to use one call to create the app and another to update the policy.
You can suggest a feature enhancement for this flow on the Okta Community page by going to the Community→ Ideas tab. Features suggested in our community are reviewed and can be voted and commented on by other members. High popularity will increase the likelihood of it being picked up by the Product Team and it being implemented.
