15oqk (15oqk) asked a question.

Request does not contain any relay state. Are you using idp-initiated flow?

Hello,

when I try to access OCI by clicking on the OCI app in the Okta dashboard, I get the following response:

{

 "code" : "InvalidParameter",

 "message" : "Request does not contain any relay state. Are you using idp-initiated flow?"

}

What is the best solution to resolve this?

Is that issue come from Oracle side or need to change Okta setting?

    Hi @15oqk (15oqk),

    Thank you for posting on the Okta community page!

    I have checked the SAML settings found on the application profile in Okta, under the Sign On tab and it seems that the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure app only supports SP initiated flows, therefore the behaviour that you are encountering is expected because you are trying to authenticate through an IdP initiated flow.

    I have provided below the documentation previously mentioned in this reply:

    I hope the above information is useful!

    Thanks for the response,

    After the configuration from Okta and Oracle side, should i go with the login URL, select the Identity provider, and click on continue ?
