Create and Update Zone APIs are Not Working

Hello everyone,

Does anyone know why the Update a Network Zone API call which is explained in "https://developer.okta.com/docs/reference/api/zones/*response-example-4" is not working?

When I try the instructions mentioned in Okta documents and use a PUT request to an IP or a range of addresses to a zone, no changes occur and the API call only returns the desired zone's attributes, just like a GET call.

Also, when I use the instructions to create a new zone, it has a 200 response but only lists the already available zones again in the result.

    Hello Parsa,

My name is Alexandru, a Technical Support Engineer with Okta.

I have tried reproducing the issue you mentioned, both using Postman and curl commands in the terminal, and could not obtain your results. The response shows the newly created/updated network zone, in its most up-to-date state.

Unfortunately, due to the nature of Help Center Community questions, I am unable to further troubleshoot your problem. As such I suggest opening a support case with Okta, by going to the "Get support" button on the lower-right and selecting "Open a case", so that you can receive the best support that we can offer.

I wish you a wonderful day!
