If I edit a user profile to change the UserID, does the user need to set a new password?

A group of clients has changed their email domain and I need to change their Okta user profiles to use the new email domain. If I edit their existing profiles (UserID field and primary email field) can they simply log on with their updated email and existing password, or do they need to set a new password?

    Hi, @00ujajzrddsoId8Ak0h1.5495599543215374E12 (Customer)

Thank you for posting on our Community page!

I have done some research and I found that, basically, changing the password is not mandatory when changing attributes.

    Hope this helps!

Thank you for reaching out to our Community and have a great day!
